9:30 AM - 11:30 AM | Cyanotype / Sun Print Workshop *
Cost: $25/person, with portion of proceeds donated to CNY Living History Center

Learn the history and chemistry of the beautiful Cyanotype or Sun Print process using the 1842 recipe. Participants will coat, expose and develop their own Cyanotype photograms using the instructor's collection or their own intricate and mostly flat items such as jewelry, plants, feathers and more. After living 80 years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the 1931 Brockway Hearse was brought back to Cortland and has been fully restored. It is complete with a coffin, and "The Munsters."

Though the roots of belly dance are older than those of Steampunk, and located in other parts of the world - belly dance did first come into American consciousness during Victorian times. In this special Sunday edition we will learn belly dance movements, but we will put them together with some steampunk inspired music and flavor.

Join Half Light Theatre company members in the east parlour of the 1890 House for live performances and readings of Edgar Allan Poe’s poetry masterpieces accompanied by original music from Jeff Wahl. Poetry offerings every quarter hour.
2:30 PM | Corsets through Time

Cost: Open to the public; $5 donation requested, but not required
Take a walk back in time with local corsetier, Julia Adams, for a talk about the "bones" of corsetry in the late 18th to 20th centuries. Learn about shapes and fabrics, techniques and innovation throughout the height of the corseted era. Talk will include a dressing demonstration in period clothing, as well as reproduction corsets from all six of the major corset periods from 1780-1917.
Noon - 2:00 PM | A Cup of Poe

Stop in and grab a beverage, snack and experience a little bit of Poe as you chat with a costumed cast member of Nevermore...An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe, maybe even meet Poe himself.
